Modular garbage front-end processor combination

Designer:

Zekai Ren (任泽恺)

Introduction:

This project proposes a combinatory garbage processor at the site of the residential communities where waste is generated. The processor is co-located on the ground floor with the public toilet to share drainage, disinfection, sterilization, deodorization technology. By controlling temperature and humidity with solar power, wet garbage can be transformed into liquid enzyme to fertilize the roof garden. Dry garbage can be stored at the rear end of the processor for removal. This combination forms the center island of the community. The control rooms for security and operation are located on the second floor. The slope of the building will be used to create a playground for children. The activity areas will be concentrated in one place to avoid noise disturbance.

As the cleaning cycle is prolonged, noise and pollution caused by garbage transportation can be reduced, so as to help the sustainable development of the community. This facility can also be used for convenience stores, large-scale outdoor events and other scenes.
